Tuesday's Devotional

Good Morning Everyone,

Let's look at John 8:16

"I am not alone, but I am with the Father who sent Me."

Although Jesus walked alone in His mission, suffered alone, was rejected by the world, and denied by His friends, our lonely Savior had consolation. His heavenly Father was with Him: "And yet if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone, but I am with the Father who sent Me" (John 8:16).

Even though Jesus might have felt alone at times like we do, He knew He had a Father in heaven who would be with Him: "And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him" (John 8:29).

Christ promises that people can find peace in Him: "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28).

Our Savior promises that He can relieve people’s burdens, even the burden of loneliness. He has conquered loneliness for us by His death on the cross.

Bro. Paul
